We had a lot of steps, wooden walkways and bridges that were of concern when the club decided to go spikeless. The P.E.M. Mat was easily installed on these areas and the members love it. Water drains right through the mat, and it provides excellent traction for spikeless traffic. The PVC construction also greatly reduces golf ball bounce on high impact areas, around greens and fairways. The rubber matting I tried was always wet on the underside and slippery when moist. All of the rubber was replaced with the P.E.M. matting. I think it will truly last for many years.

If you have any input to your greens committee, I highly recommend P.E.M. Matting. At our club, we have used a multitude of railroad ties for paths and steps. Upon making soft spikes mandatory, players were constantly slipping on the ties. After several hip, shoulder and knee injuries, we soon saw an urgency to solve the problem, and we were fortunate to find P.E.M. Matting. The product looks great, doesn't fade, and gives tremendous footing. Quite a savings over replacing the railroad ties! It can also be used to cover cart paths in play, as it greatly reduces the bounce of the golf ball!

A Great Product!

Prior to changing over to a "soft spikes" policy at the end of 1997, all our matting was that stiffed ribbed rubber. However, if the dew was heavy, heavy frost or rain, these mats were extremely slippery. In our pursuit to replace these mats and experimenting with a few different types, we found that P.E.M. Matting was the best. No slipping, easy to clean and easy to install. I could recommend this product to anyone with a similar need.

A few weeks ago, I attended a Metro Luncheon at Riverchase in Fenton, MO. During a tour of the aquatic center, I noticed the P.E.M. mat on a wooden bridge. This matting looked much nicer and more comfortable to walk on than the material I was currently using at my facility.

The P.E.M. matting that I ordered was delivered the following day. It is in the lobby area to our indoor pool. It is skid-proof, attractive and very easy to clean. One of the best features of it is the comfort! I serve a large senior population as well as many pre-school age children. The P.E.M. matting is very comfortable to walk on in bare feet. The other matting I had used was very painful to walk on without shoes.

The Charleston Boat Club installed your Blue Mat material on its primary access walkways last year, and it has proven very satisfactory. To date, the material shows very little wear and we are able to keep it clean without a great deal of expense.

The 1998-99 school year has begun, marking the start of the third year that we have had the P.E.M. matting product at our school, utilized in various athletic and recreational areas.

The P.E.M. matting that covers our varsity baseball field fencing has held up in outstanding fashion and adds a great dimension to player safety, as well as tremendous esthetic dominance. The matting used in the interior back wall of our dugouts greatly reduces wear on uniform shirts.

The large concrete areas in front of our stadium bleachers that are covered with the P.E.M. matting have really served our cheerleaders well in providing a safe and beautiful cheerleaders "pad" for their activities.

The P.E.M. matting specifically designed for our tennis courts as "windscreen" has performed beautifully with exceptional durability.

In all of these areas, I have found that the quality and performance of the P.E.M. matting to be outstanding. All of the areas are subject to severe heat, cold, and sun light. The P.E.M. matting has held up beautifully and I hope to add the P.E.M. product to other areas of our facility in the near future as our budgets allow. Some of the other areas I have in the plans, include the swimming pool area, the weight room, shower and locker rooms, etc.

Over a year ago I began using B.E.S.T. System in my barn, I have a ten stall barn with everything from ponies to old brood mares, from polo ponies to jumpers and just pleasure pets.

The initial introduction of B.E.S.T. to the barn took some time but looking back only minimal, compared to the time saving advantages. We began the process by leveling all the stalls with chat and saturated the floor with the odor control. Then we placed the matting over the top, cut to fit the mat, and put shavings on top. I managed to move the mats all by myself After that the stall was good to go. We have used them daily and everything worked well. Because of the construction of the mat, once it is in place there were no more urine pools. The porosity of the mat allowed the natural drainage of the stall to work properly. Now whenever people come to visit the barn. They all remark on the fact that the barn is clean and they can not really "smell" barn odor at all.

During the summer the B.E.S.T. odor control is used in the ceiling spray system. Once used for Fly spray. It not only controls the odor, but by doing so helps minimize the fly population. During the winter months I use a portable mister once a week in each stall for a few minutes to accomplish results similar to the ceiling spray system.

I have also used the mats in wash room, grooming area, as well as taking them to horse shows for the porta-stalls. Speaking of shows. You know that "clean;" smell you get when you wash sheets, blankets and wraps which end up clean, but still "smell of stall" (urine). Just add a, little BEST odor control to the rinse water and that smell is gone.

Needless to say after all the other products I have used to help eliminate odor in the barn they can't touch the results I experienced using B.E.S.T. odor control. I used a little over 1 gallon for the barn for the entire year.

I strongly recommend the use of both products in the B.E.S.T. system for everyone to use. They enhance the overall barn environment, for both horse and human. Please call any time with your questions.

Your horse mats have been installed in our barn about 6 months now. (The last set of another product lasted only two years, and the manufacturer said we were on our own.) From what I see after 6 months, our mats, (three stalls, one wash stall, and one central aisleway) are looking as good as the day they were installed last fall.

I am convinced your product will last over 10 years. They are as pliable as the day they were installed, and show no signs of wear to date. They do not get slick like other mats. They keep the sound down, dissipate water in the wash stall so we don't get as wet as our horses, and they look great. They are the talk of our horse community, Christmas Valley. I own and operate a very busy horse-drawn carriage company in the downtown St. Louis area. Over the years we have tried various products to minimize the urine and ammonia odor on the cobblestone streets where we offer our tours. Nothing seemed to work! In June 1998, I attended Equitana '98' and picked up some of your company's literature. Upon returning to St, Louis, I purchased a bottle of B.E.S.T. Odor Control Spray and tried it on the streets. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The ammonia and urine odor was completely eliminated. Thanks B.E.S.T. for solving this on-going problem!

For the past year, the PETsMART PERCHERON Hitch has been using B.E.S.T. products and results have been phenomenal. We use the odor control product in numerous capacities. When on the road, our horses are kept in individual tie stalls, thus a considerable amount of urine is left by the horses in a very confined area. The B.E.S.T. Odor Control eliminates basically all odor, as well as serving as an excellent fly control system during the warmer weather.

We also use the product in our nine horse semi-van. Once again we are able to eliminate odor. This allows us to stop less frequently as we have decreased the need to air out our van by using B.E.S.T. We have also found our horses travel in better health due to the decreased ammonia odor in the van.

We have found an additional use for the B.E.S.T. Odor Control. Sprayed directly on soiled areas of our horse blankets, shipping boots and personal clothing, it eliminates odor, lift stains and prolongs the life of the fabric.

Thank you so much for introducing your product to the world of dog kennels! Since spraying the concrete pens right outside the back door of my house, I am no longer "bowled over" by the odors when I leave. Many years of overuse of this area, combined with the summer heat, had created quite a problem for me as the new homeowner.

In addition my finicky Doberman female would not step foot on the grassy area which had been used by the previous owners dog. Believe it or not, one small bottle of the diluted spray over an area measuring about 25' x 25', took away any objectionable odors. Her very sensitive nose soon gave way to approval as she trotted across the grass!
